Late nights and coffee can fuel either one of two things: great ideas or what you thought was a great idea, but it turns out you just needed sleep. One of the best things about having my co author near by is I can depend on her to tell me if it is great, or if I just need to stop. I continued to organize my ideas and thoughts for the book last night, coffee close by, and I had the most fantastic idea for a twist no reader will see coming.
Running it by her, I needed to make sure that is wasn't going to "over crowd" the book. Give you, the reader, to much to keep up with. As my co author, Michele Styles Gardner, has said she read books that had way to much in the book to even remotely keep up with, so it made the book unappealing. Thankfully the idea did sound great and I can get to planning where I want it to start. I am pretty excited about getting started, but I honestly can't wait until everyone can get to read it!
Now it's time for me to get back to Annalisa and Blake's life. Romance, deception, manipulation and death can always make for an epic cliff hanger.
